Dynamic Research "One of the most rewarding aspects of my graduate education is the interest shown in my work by the pet food and related industries."

Research

Research is a vital component of graduate training and the research programs of faculty associated with the Division are well supported by grants from federal and state agencies, commodity groups, and industrial organizations. In recognition of their research accomplishments, many faculty and students have received prestigious honors, awards and recognitions from the University of Illinois and national and international professional societies.

The research programs are divided into the following 6 "Research Themes". Within each theme, you will find list of the faculty who are conducting research in that area. In addition, you will find subcategories of research focused on specific nutrients, diseases, organ systems and species.
